The service received from Alive Studios was excellent from start to finish.
Very friendly staff and fast service. We are delighted with the transfer and quality of our wedding video (41 years old!) to digital.

The service was excellent, however the speed of the job was slow and took much longer than promised.

My third order this year received back yesterday underlines the excellent service I am getting from Alive Studios. The whole process is good from start to finish, as are the digitised results I am getting from video 8 and video Hi-8 tapes I filmed nearly 35 years ago. I do like the ordering process - it's clearly been designed by people who have ordered services online themselves! As for recommending others to try this company - I have just had my fourth order this year collected by Royal Mail - need I say more?

This is the second time I have used Alive Studios and, as before, I am very please with the service, The free collection and delivery is a great feature but, more importantly, the quality of the work is excellent. For the first time in decades we can view family videos that were on VHS.

My first order with Alive Studios was handed so well that I very quickly sent more video 8 and video Hi-8 camera tapes to be digitised. That order has been returned today, and the whole process from start to finish was a repeat of the first order; excellent communication throughout and a very pleasing result. Many thanks.

I had my parents color cine films dating from 1950 through to early 1980's digitized - brilliant , particularly the 1950 s ones they were really dirty and grainy, now so clean. Every part of the process, from first contact, through ordering - receipt of order - doing the digitisations - and sending the finished job plus my tapes back, was very well oraganised and very much appreciated. As has been the excellent results in digitising one video 8 and two video 8 camera tapes I shot in 1989 to 1991. I will be sending another order soon, and on the basis of the work done for me I would certainly recommend Alive Studios to others.

I came across this site after asking my AI tool for the highest rated /best reviewed UK based business that could recover/clean up old VHS footage. I had a very grainy video from 2000 that was very precious to me.

After posting it out recorded delivery and saying a small prayer that everything would be ok (😂) I was both happy and relieved when I saw that the job had been completed and uploaded online (which is free for a period of 14 days), pending my receipt in the post of my new digital copy (on USB).

When I logged in to view, I was blown away by what these guys had done. It far far exceeded my expectations and I could not be happier.

To me, the results are worth double/triple the cost of what I paid. I would wholeheartedly recommend these guys.

Bit surprised it took two months this time. Two other things: the link that takes you to track parcels takes you to dpd when in fact Royal Mail is being used; the apps to come list says that they will be available during 2024 and the one I want still isn’t available.
