I am highly satisfied with the order procedure and have placed 2 x seperate orders both of which were carried out perfectly. The quality of the transfer to digital is excellent given the first order was super 8 film from the 1970s and the second was video 8 tape from 1989. Both results were better than expected. Plus Alive offer cloud hosting meaning I can share the films with whoever I wish with the minimum of fuss and set up. If you want the best it's Alive Studios.

The quality of work here is five star as is the customer service which has been speedy in responding to queries. I've used two other digitising services before which were cheaper but the quality of the digitisation has not nearly been as good and the customer service woeful. This company is a lot more expensive but worth it in my opinion.

A couple of small things means this is a four not a five star review - actually I'd give it 4 and a half stars if I could. I'd have a preferred a realistic timeframe at the start rather than a very optimistic one even with the caveat. It took much longer than the original estimate. My only other issue was that my slides aren't available on the 'Alive Cloud' where my cine film is. I can't believe it isn't possible to store slides as well as cine film there.

I'll probably use this company again for some other old film I have. So I recommend them.

On the whole the service was excellent but I would have appreciated an email between you receiving the film and it actually being a completed order, I did in fact ring to check everything was ok. Just to say you were processing it and giving an idea of completion date.
