    When we arrived at Sixt we taken in very quickly and begun the checking in process. I had prepaid so my assumption was the process would be very fast. She began to explain that the car we had reserved wasn't available and that we would haveto choose a *** vs the *** we really wanted and that there would be a ***$ hold on top of the payment for this vehicle. I was confused and stated that no where was it stated when i paid that I needed upfront have that amount available for the rental. If the information was clearly stated at the time I pre paid for my rental I could of taken the necessary steps to make sure that amount would of been available on my credit cards. We had to drop to a lower class vehicle with a lower deposit to just get out of the place and start our vacation. Upon arriving at the car we had found about a half dozen scratches, dings, and dents on the vehicle that weren't accounted for so we had spend another 15 20 mins with the lot attendant addressing these issues. The window washer fluid was completely empty we found out an hour into or 4 hour trip. When we arrived in Key West we discovered a brake light was malfunctioning and would not work. I contacted customer service via phone and was told to either A. Take it back to Miami 4 hrs away B. Take it a garage and have it fixed on my time and dollar and I'd be reimbursed. If your willing to provide faulty equipment on your vehicles without proper inspection you should be held responsible for any accidents and or traffic tickets that occur due to the safety concern. I was informed that Sixt would not pay or be held responsible for any incident. The last thing I want to do on my very short vacation is take a vehicle to a garage for a light bulb or anything for that matter. Please make the deductible/deposit clause a lot more clear whenever you are renting a vehicle on your app and online site before, during, and after you pay. I really hope the receptionist I spoke with on the phone misinterpreted the policy on faulty equipment to me. Thank you for your time.
