Simplyfixit did in two hours what Apple shop failed to do, I.e. Insert a new battery in my iPhone.

Excellent service. Very accommodating as we do not live close by and were coming to Edinburgh two days later for something else and managed to collect fixed iPad on the same day.
Dead laptop battery. Inspected and ordered part there & then, good comms of arrival a few days later, fixed in

I asked for help with my iPad in your Stockbridge branch on the 24th July 2019. I phoned on the 1st August but there was no news. I called into the shop on the 9th August to hear that no one could look at the iPad for 2 weeks. I phoned on the 27th August and was told someone would phone me back that day but no one called. And the same happened on the following day. I phoned today, 6th September, and was curtly informed that no repair was possible. I shall collect the iPad on Monday. In all these weeks no one has contacted me to discuss the problem. The delay and the level of communication have both been appalling.
Still waiting on laptop being fixed
I brought it in saying I can’t use it as keyboard broken so can’t enter password
After 2 weeks I got a call to ask what my password is as they can’t access it to fix it which is the while reason I brought it in
