Booking via internet was easy but I put the pick up time an hour earlier than it should be. I
I phoned up to change it expecting delays.
The first call wasn’t answered but whenI phoned back half an hour later the phone was answered promptly by a man who told me that the extra hour made no difference. Felt like I had dealt with a human being. Impressed.
at no point during the booking does it suggest the parking is a small carpark on an industrial estate. It is not easy to find. The taxi service worked but was not super efficient and I was left feeling a little uncertain about the security of my car. I would not recommend this particular car parking, I would be more inclined to go for, what appears to be, more secure airport parking.
When we got back to Luton we phoned the taxi company as instructed. we found this to be very confusing it was pouring rain - our flight was delayed 2 hours we couldnt see the taxi and the taxi driver couldn' find us . The controler told us to wait under the canopy which we did but the taxi driver was told to wait in the disabled bay It was a very bad experience which cost us an additional £*** which we didnt object to

No one present upon arrival at designated time. Had to ask business behind for advice on where and how to park. Taxi company turned up on time but driver didn't assist with baggage. Drop off at Luton - driver stayed in car on phone whilst we unloaded our own baggage. Pickup - phoned both taxi firm and LAP to confirm pickup a little earlier. No reply from LAP. Taxi sent car immediately. Gates open upon arrival. We trust CCD TV was working!

Conclusion: Not as worry free as we had expected.

Good car park wouldn’t use again due to the fact I felt in easy where with the area the car was left

The overall process worked really well, the communication was clear and thorough. It was easy to find the parking and the taxi was on time both times. It was also easy to make any changes due to flight delays.

All worked out well, taxi transfers were free and efficient. However the car park is just a small plot of land on an industrial road which took me by surprise, as two women alone it didn’t feel the safest.

Stressful & Frustrating !!! Dropped the car in their ‘patrolled car park’ (outside industrial unit making catering equipment!) Waited for the ‘taxi transfer’ for 20 minutes, calling Lutonairportcars phone numbers - straight to answer machine! Had to pay £*** to book local cab to the airport - ‘transfer taxi’ called me when I was at the flight check-in desk to see if I still needed them!!! On return to UK, transfer taxi didn’t have me on their pick up list - more hassle - very amateur operation!

I tried to book parking for 26/9 to 30/9 but I never received a confirmation that my payment had gone through. I emailed you about this but never received a reply. Do I need to resubmit my request?
