I have been using LOGSDIRECT for several years now and have always been pleased with the quick delivery and of course the excellent logs.

Logs had been loaded on weak broken pallet which had been put onto CHEP pallet. Despite indicating on order that small vehicle needed for access delivery driver could not get near. Pallet load meant he was unable to get pallet up slope into garage; this meant I had to handball the entire load and stack in my garage completely undermining the point of a crate delivery.

Very happy with the logs in general.
Unfortunately it looks like they must have been left outside in some of the heavy rain last week - I suspect this happened with the distribution team. Whilst this should air off in my store, some of the outside logs were very wet.

The pallet they were supplied on had pretty much disintegrated by the time the logs reached me, which caused a lot of mess on the road outside the house. Again, I suspect this was due to the rain.

The pallet looked as though it was too heavy for the tail lift on the lorry, and it began to tip. The delivery driver actually asked me to stand next to it and keep it steady, because the platform was tipping. I said no, as this was clearly unsafe.

I have photos of the wet pallet, and a short video of the driver attempting to move the pallet from the lorry to the lift.

In my view we were lucky not to see an accident in this delivery.

Logs themselves (the dry ones) are burning well and can't be faulted.

The delivery process was excellent but unfort many of the bags were broken and so I lost many pellets! This was very messy and wasteful

I had requested my order be delivered to my partner at her work address, instead it was delivered in my (abbreviated first name) name to my partners work address. This caused obvious problems, but to be fair logs direct did what they could to track the order and it turned out a week later.
