Ok - well as an update to my excoriating review of earlier in the week I should like to qualify it by saying what a difference well trained, knowledgeable customer support staff can make.(Thank you Jethro for taking the time to call me and explain)

So, things you should bear in mind if shopping with Lazy Susan (or anybody else) via *** - they aren't allowed to respond to you *** via *** pretty dreadful "messages" system, which is next to impossible to navigate if you're a small customer services team dealing with hundreds of orders at a time - if you want them to call/email you make a point of asking them to do so and providing your details in a response via ***.

It seems lazy Susan have been a victim of their own success - they've had record sales since February, which coupled with lockdown, social distancing and and a distributed warehousing system have left them struggling to process orders.

Contrary to how my previous review may make me sound, I'm not a total crank, I just lose my marbles when companies don't contact me or respond when things go wrong - it's the first rule of customer service - a company who doesn't seem to take the time to contact you immediately seems dodgy.

So, they've offered me a discount and promised to keep me personally in the loop with the process of my order from now on... Let's see how that goes 😁
Utterly disgusted with the dreadful customer support from this firm. I am very careful who I choose to do business with online and given the pandemic I have gone out of my way to support small independent businesses who clearly need the support at a difficult time. After taking the time to read the reviews of Lazy Susan here and on their own website I committed to buying a patio set from them. A simple reverse image search shows that many near-identical patio sets are available for £*** on *** and so the £*** I paid for it is borderline extortionate, but I figured if I can get it delivered in a couple of days then I'm prepared to pay a premium for dealing with a company with a UK base and good customer service.

Two weeks later I still have nothing but vague excuses from the company - "some trouble at the warehouse" apparently - (which no doubt translates to a difficulty getting it shipped from China). No offer of any kind of recompense, alternative product, compensation, assistance or even a possible idea of when I might possibly receive the item.

I engaged with Lazy Susan based around their story - and it turns out this is either a lie or sadly no longer the case.

BEWARE. If you want a Cast Aluminium patio set - buy one direct from *** - save yourself £*** on the extortionate prices this company are charging - you'll probably get it shipped quicker from China as you're not dealing with a middle man who can't be bothered to talk to you.

My experience with your garden furniture and your company has been perfect.
I’m so disappointed with Lazy Susan! After reading all the positive reviews I felt confident in placing my order for a patio set. I wasn’t given any advance notice of the delivery and when it arrived the driver couldn’t get away quick enough, after telling me I was stuck with the pallet it arrived on. I had no chance to inspect the boxes. When I opened it up, the table had a dent in it and a crack along the lattice work. Their customer services just told me to email a photo. I did this on 25th July and am still waiting to hear back. I’ve tried ringing again, but the phones aren’t being answered now and just advised to email them. I’ve emailed again, but no reply so I’ve no idea what if anything is going to happen. I’ve got 4 chairs and no table to sit round. Surely you can do better than this, or are you just being lazy, Susan?

We have ordered from you 3 times and each time we have found your representatives helpful and friendly. Our only niggle would be the high prices, but you have given discounts to us as returning customer so we were happy with that. Reward loyalty and you will keep customers! Excellent service and love the products.
Lazy Susan desperately need to improve their communication with customers and the literacy of their warehouse staff.
The former seem incapable of responding to telephone calls and emails and the latter are, it appears, unable to read English and dispatch any old item they feel like.
Disappointed service for delivery of goods arranged with GBA Final Mile. One month from order and still waiting for the delivery. Accepted a delivery slot on Friday for delivery for the following Monday. Waited for 3 1/2 hours in the slot advised before ringing GBA to be advised that delivery slot had been moved, without advising us, to Wednesday. Glad I took time off for this!
