We'd not heard of JC prior to sending our son on a summer school course. As JC are not *** registered it was difficult to find trusted reviews and information on the courses and the care the children received. Following a few phone calls and some online research we were able to secure a space and the week of A-level maths tuition was excellent and we would highly recommend JC.

My son enjoyed the GCSE summer camp. It seemed a good mix of academics and evening fun. I would like to see more camps, perhaps over Easter?

My son really enjoyed the online summer school. Some subjects were better than others (biology and English were particularly well received I think). Only comments were that, with only 4 of them, more interaction and requiring the students to talk and respond rather than just listen, would have been more effective at keeping interest and increasing take away.

My son did the A-level economics course in the S Ken (MPW) centre this summer.. He couldn’t speak more highly of the experience. The teacher seemed very invested in and ambitious for the students and taught my son very useful strategies and tips that he had not been taught at his top independent school. If only we had him full-time!

My son had a brilliant week, he worked hard but also made some great friends.

Overall, I would recommend.

My daughter really enjoyed the program. I am not entirely sure how useful the academics were since all the kids were at different stages with different exam boards; it was hard for the sessions to be personalised. A group of girls was sent out of camp to get dinner, which seems a little concerning.

The booking process was quick and efficient. Very helpful on the phone and checked carefully that my daughter was going to be on the right course for her exam board.
