Poor communication.
I ordered a Horstman timer switch. I received a product by a different manufacturer that has an almost identical spec but different form ( and presumably price). I emailed the company to enquire if this was a mistake. The email reply ignored my question and asked me a question instead. I sent a reply with the info requested to my best knowledge. Three days later I haven't heard anything.
My suspicion is that I may have been sent a similar product as a substitution because the one I ordered and paid for was out of stock. However it's poor form to do this without checking with the customer first.

Would I recommend you? Depends how my query is resolved.

I was disappointed with my first experience with this company. The item I ordered was slow to be dispatched - I had to chase it, and when it arrived the wrong item had been sent. However they did immediately send the correct item quickly when I contacted them about it.

I made an online order which was very easy and straight forward. Unfortunately I had no correspondence to where my goods were and had to phone to chase a week later. I had to chase this again as I hadn't been called back but spoke to a helpful person who advised me the item had gone out of stock and was just sitting on their system not doing anything. It would have been really helpful if I had been advised of this before having to chase. She kindly said she would contact the supplier and ring me back the following morning, which she did. She was able to arrange for the item to come direct from the supplier and it arrived the next day.
