Although the online ordering service was straightforward, the delivery process let the whole experience down. I made the order in the 28/03 and as of today, more than a month later, I have nothing. Communication is severely lacking with only one acknowledgment to an online escalation answered more than a week later with a promise of a delivery that has not happened. So, great idea and choice of wines, but not much use if you cannot deliver.

I like the selection of Spanish wines especially *** and *** . I ordered several times and had good experience with delivery times. However, my last two orders were truly neglected by Decantalo. Tracking information only tells the date of dispatch and then nothing. No tracking number provided. I waited for my December order around 3 weeks to be delivered. My last order from 27th February hasn't been delivered yet. Dispatch date is 13th March and no further information. Customer service when asked, wrote something about customs hold, and promised my order will be delivered by today. No DPD notification received about delivery and it will be likely not happening today.
I asked for refund. Other online shops do better.
I made a purchase in Nov and was told I would receive my wines by the 12th of Dec. I purchased a lot of wine to go with our holiday dinners. I did not receive my wine until the 26th of Dec in the evening. The problem was that nobody answered my mails or tried to help me with the issue. There is no phone number to call and the internet you just sent a form, which I did, and no response. Horrrible customer service. No response. I finally got a mail on the 2nd of Jan from Decantalo saying we see you got your wine. No apology. Nada. If you want wine with in a month and can wait until it goes bad them use them.

Excellent website of Decantalo and easy ordering process. I rather pay for delivery instead of free delivery by the unreliable party called DPD in the Netherlands
