Always reasonable and honest to deal with. Although not quick turnarounds due to complicated electrical issues my euro engine has, when I have called in for a weekly or fortnightly check up, *** has always provided progress updates and explained the “why” for pricing and time.
Great and always recommend.
Sterling Auto Electrics repaired a faulty fuel gauge on our Audi TT which had been problematic for some years and others had been unable to resolve. They also fitted a reversing camera and repaired our boot trim. The job was very professionally carried out and they were very good to deal with. We are more than happy to recommend this company.
Had a intermittent engine light that came on OCCASIONALLY, maybe twice a week at worst. I thought I’d get ahead of it and book in a diagnostic and repair for what I assumed to be a simple fix. 10 days advanced notice prior to booking.
Very very poor customer service was the result.

Car was booked in Monday for diagnostics only. Didn’t hear anything until I called Thursday. Was promised a call back later that day. Call never came. Called up Friday to find a quote for a turbo swap for *** to fix the car - taking 8-9hrs in labour charges. Paid 2hrs diagnostics fee for $242 and left with my car. Upon being in my car I now have 2 engines lights PERMANENTLY on and a car that is NOW severely down on power and in need of imminent repair. Have found a turbo for $430 with *** use and been quoted 2-3hrs labour for the swap + gasket kit cost. All up should cost no more than about $600 with receipts from a reputable franchise group.

This company is a complete joke. Overpriced, overcharged, overbooked, undermanned, car more broken than when it went in, and custom service is dismal. Can’t even get a scan done in 5 days or a call back.

Will not recommend to anyone or the 12 million automotive social media followers I have on Facebook, where predominantly ~750k live on the East Coast and about 400k in SE QLD alone. Will be giving my review to these followers soon enough. Don’t bother contacting me again.
Effective service
Excellent service, resolved my electrical problems with the CAS unit on my BMW 650 and got a replacement from Germany. Car is perfect again, very happy.
Great customer service, friendly staff and well priced. 100% recommended to others
Thanks!
Had an issue with the radio/navigation unit in the BMW. Stirling Auto Electrics was quick to diagnose the problem and advise the options available with expected costs. All work done as promised with no hidden costs. Thank you.
Would be 5 stars, but the car was returned having been sprayed all over the dash, steering wheel, instruments, leather upholstery, door linings and pedals with some sort of oily slippery shiny *** possibly armorall. The dash is supposed to be matte, and the steeringwheel is not supposed to be slippery. We now have to try to remove this stuff to get back to the new look it used to have🙄 Recommendation...do not do this!
Excellent - fast - no fuss
