I previously purchased a policy and had to request a refund due to visa refusal and its over a month since I was told my refund would be issued in 10 days. No refund and no response from customer support. I am still buying a fresh policy now but am fairly worried that AXA is not a company I can count on if ever I need to make a claim.

Subject: Request to Correct My Travel Insurance Policy from “Schengen” to “Europe”

Dear Sir/Madam,

I purchased travel insurance for my trip to Serbia and specifically requested European travel insurance. However, after I completed the payment, the insurance policy that was sent to me was issued as Schengen Travel Insurance instead of European Travel Insurance.

I did not request Schengen travel insurance, and I do not understand why this mistake has occurred. Unfortunately, this is the second time I have purchased travel insurance from your company for my trip to Serbia, and on both occasions the policy was incorrectly issued as Schengen travel insurance instead of European travel insurance.

I am very disappointed by this repeated error. I kindly request that you correct my insurance policy from Schengen Travel Insurance to European Travel Insurance and send me the corrected policy as soon as possible.
