My claim was delayed because the email I sent was held up in the system as it had a zip file attachment.
I think it’s crazy in 2024 that a form is still required where it isn’t for house, motor, health insurance etc. This makes the claims process clunky and completely unnecessary. The staff gave me amazing advice before putting in my form, copied me in to communication to my vets. They were amazing, so helpful and a huge asset.

*** was excellent to deal with & kept me informed throughout the claim process.
Claims are slow being settled and one settlement was put in our account which cause hassle. Allianz repeatedly asked for clinical history even though the vet practice had already given them. I thought this was a deliberate delay tactic
I expected a level of service that reflects Allianz’s reputed standards, but my recent experiences have been exceedingly disappointing.
Firstly, the response time from your customer service representative has been abysmally slow. It has taken months for them to get back to me on multiple occasions, which is completely unacceptable for any service, let alone an insurance provider where timely responses are critical.

Secondly, the information provided by your representatives has often been incorrect. This misinformation has caused significant confusion and inconvenience, undermining my confidence in your service. Accurate information is fundamental to any service interaction, and the lack of it here is troubling.

Additionally, the communication I have received has frequently appeared to be generic, copy-and-paste responses. These responses did not address the specific queries I raised, making me feel disregarded and fobbed off. This impersonal approach is highly unprofessional and frustrating for a customer seeking genuine assistance.

Whenever I sought clarification on the advice provided, I was met with a lack of helpful engagement, leaving me feeling as though my concerns were not being taken seriously. This further compounded my frustration and disappointment with your service.

Overall, my experience with your customer service has been far below my expectations. I feel compelled to formally complain about the level of service I have encountered, especially as your Customer Service Representative urged me numerous times to do so when I did not want to do this. This experience has not only been disappointing but has also shaken my trust in Allianz Pet Insurance. Hopefully next time I will deal with a competent Customer Service Representative who can provide more details on the section of the policy she has quoted.

Piecemeal data and claim by claim is very dated would prefer one correspondence confirming what is covered and what the end claim value is. Also I received multiple small values by eft and via cheque which is confusing would prefer one lump sum directly to my account.

I had zero communication with the claims. My vets submitted claim forms and they were, I guess dealt with. I am not clear what my vet claimed ( there is an ongoing claim for monthly injections) and, it seems no way of checking it other than bothering the vet. Also your myAllianz is very unclear and not user friendly.
Finally, why do you have to pay claims by (antiquated) cheques? Can you do do transfers?
