My freezer claim was dealt with very nicely and very professionally by ***. Even though the freezer claim didn’t impact on my no claims insurance bonus it nevertheless prevented me from renewing my insurance with Allianz on another property because my broker said that any claim, regardless of its type, prevented me getting the best quote.

I felt the settlement figure should have been higher. It did not cover the entire cost and subsequently forced me to make cut backs.

Overall, the process was satisfactory in that we received reimbursement for our claim. The slowness of the payment, coupled with slow response times means that we have a hole in our window for almost three weeks longer than necessary (since the window company wouldn't trigger the replacement order until payment was made), which is disappointing given the traumatic circumstances of the breakage and the fact that we provided all our information in a timely fashion
