Confusing process as attempted theft was recorded as motor damage & hugely affected my renewal policy & no claims. After weeks of worry , I received excellent help from policy department and the issue was resolved to both our satisfaction.
I received a replacement car for seven days. In that time the assessor had never been to see the car. I had to rent a car for the remainder of the process at my own expense. Plus,overall from start to finish it took too long to finalize.
I had zero problems or issues. It was entirely satisfactory.
Everything was pretty straight forward to deal with, except for one customer service representative but I got everything clarified easily once I deal with a different operative.
Waiting 90mins for someone to answer phone staff didn't have a clue what was going on was supposed to have AA assisted nobody came to tow car away the third party involved had to pay them myself Allianz is impossible to deal with it was nightmare from start to finish
When this accident occurred I myself contacted Alliance I was told that I would be kept informed of all that would occur I was told that a person named *** would keep me informed of all happenings but until I contacted you yesterday I was completely unaware of whether the claim was settled or not
I spoke with a representative the day that I informed alliance of the incident
And that was the only person I spoke to about the accident I said that I may have been able to pay the injured party but was not given that opportunity to even think about it
Although I am in favour of the Alliance insurance policy I am very disappointed with the after service promised

Nothing to much trouble plain sailing throughout
The process was very professional- we were not familiar with making a claim but Allianz made everything run smoothly
Took an age for the claim to go through, main issues were the lack of any correspondence from Allianz, I had to do all the chasing on it with absolutely zero response from anyone in Allianz.My phone bill was also through the roof due to being on hold for almost an hour each time I called before anyone actually answered the phone as I was getting nothing back by mail. The only correspondence I did receive back was from the garage who assessed my vehicle, they were easy to deal with but the overall experience of trying to get information on my claim would make me think twice about renewing my own insurance policy with Allianz when it comes up in June
