The weather did not help for the process, however what was very good was the updating day by day on whether the guys would be working or not, so not kept in the "dark". However when they did work only did a few hours solid and then left around lunch time each day. Not sure why, but would have thought they could have continued longer each fine day and shortened the process.

A really good and also not so good experience all rolled into 1. All the staff are lovely but I did get frustrated through the many delays for various reasons that put the job a month and a half behind schedule. *** always kept me updated which was great. The workmanship and the finished product is fantastic.

The job (***) took an inordinately long time -months! It appeared that at least two different sub-contractors were involved. The fence was positioned on our land and not on the boundary, the final job site was left with uneven ground (spoil {soil} from post holes was not spread out), off-cuts from rails and palings were left lying around and a half filled bag of solid postcrete (concrete) was left near the fence.

The team attended in a timely manner (in accordance with the tenant in the home who has been a little difficult to organise entry with) and left the premises in neat and tidy condition, the finished work was fantastic and exactly to my specification. Well worth their time and effort, worth every cent!

There was a disconnect between what was requested as per the quote and what the contractors though they were doing. As a customer I would expect the contractor to have a read of the quote and have an understanding of what needs to be done.
We got the side fences done and they are great. When it came time to do the front fences, gate, and side gates it turned into a big mess. 5 posts arrived which are clearly taller than the other 5 and yet no one confirmed why, they just stuck them into the ground. The 5 taller posts were meant for the side of the block which has a drop so that all the fences can look levelled.
I was provided a drawing of what the fence would look like before going ahead....I was expecting it to show the drop and the lean of the fence so that we could work with Fences R Us to ensure all the fencing looked uniform. No, it was literally a drawing, which I didn't need considering I provided a photo of the style of fence I wanted.
We went ahead with Fences R Us because during the quote, we were informed they could do some go the levelling 'landscaping' that the block required, and not just stick a fence in. However the constractors literally did just that, stuck a fence it. I wouldn't recommend Fences R Us for anything other than putting in boundary fences.

Hi Georgina, thank you for your feedback. Firstly we apologise if something was promised and not included on the quote. We had no idea about any levelling that was mentioned by our estimator (I presume) in conversation with you. Also, I will speak with our estimator about the side of the front where you wanted the longer posts. As that was not included on the notes to the job (and really should have been). If we had known about these items they would have been included on your quote and contract, as we try to include everything - so nothing gets missed, particularly when we are doing a lot of work at a property. Thank you for your kind words about the quality of the fencing however, I will pass that on to our contractor who built the fences. Your front fencing and the sides do look really good! I contacted the Fences-R-Us team to pick up a job due to cancellation by another company on short notice. They were able to start in less than a week and were finished within 7 days! I had more than 50m of fence removed and re-installed and it looks absolutely fantastic! The team were reliable and professional to deal with. I look forward to dealing with them again in the future

They lie and take your money without finishing the job or proper authorisation.

We are so sorry you feel this way Angie. I would like to respond by saying that no money was taken without proper authorisation from you or your husband. Your finance company will NOT release monies to us unless properly authorised. If you have an issue with the funds being released without proper authorisation you need to take it up with your financial institution. Your fencesrus.com.au team
