In the US, Canon has closed all their service locations. All Canon customers must call Cannon USA for help. I have a Canon Pixma G4210 printer and I have been a Canon customer for over 50 years. My G4210 recently posted a 1700 error code that says my ink absorber pads are almost full. When I called Canon, their service tech told me to buy a new printer! I said, “WHAT? You can’t tell me how to replace the absorber pads? Why should I provide more plastic and ink trash to the local landfill garbage site, and give you more money to solve my problem?” He had no answer, so, in sever frustration and anger, I slammed down the phone. I took my search for help to local service person. He told me that it would cost more to take the G4210 apart just to replace the ink pads than to buy a new machine. So, I searched the internet to locate some instructions for me to replace the pads. What I found was a miracle!!! Yes, a miracle. I found an obscure youtube video by *** of Octoinkjet who beautifully explained how easy it was to solve my problem by installing his “Printer Potty” system for only $*** !! That’s right! $*** ! All I needed to do was remove the 2 screws on the back panel of the printer, access the ink drain tubes, connect his extension tubes, drill a small hole into the back panel, run his extension tube through the hole, connect his printer potty, and replace the back onto the printer. He then sent me to the video that clearly explains how to reset the code causing the 1700 error code. My G4210 is now back in business and I couldn’t be happier or more grateful to *** and his ingenious solution. I only wish his youtube solutions were more prominent so that similar users like myself could become aware of this critically important solution more easily. Folks,*** is genius!

I had an issue with my Epson Printer displaying a message about the ink tank was full. So I went on YouTube and found ***’s excellent video of how to resolve it. I found his assistance and customer service refreshing to the point of above and beyond expectations. The product arrived with additional instructions to assist in resolving the problem. I can highly recommend OctoInkjet on their product and customer service. My printer is back to normal and working as it should. It has prevented me in sending the printer to landfill and saved me a whole lot of money.
It is refreshing to come across an online business who are willing to provide excellent customer service and respond to your queries so quick and efficiently. It is unfortunate that I won’t need their services again but can highly recommend them to anyone who have problems with their printer. Well done.

Kit with reset code delivered quickly. Instructions slightly generic to cover XP range (mine XP860) but easy to follow and removing the waste ink pot was reasonably easy. Tip: use a magnetic tipped screw driver to hold the small screws when pulling them out and when screwing them back in. Reset code very easy to use with instructions provided.

Fast and simple order process. Also the hint with the trial code did enable me to proceed printing while awaiting the delivery. Video shows exactly how to exchange the pads. Can recommend octoink!
